Lakeside Ramblers Bluegrass Band is a hard working band who perform a variety of
traditional and contemporary bluegrass songs.
The band has been chosen, B.C.B.G A. Band of the Year   three years in a row
1999,2000,2001
at the annual general meeting of the B.C.B.G.A. held in September each year.
The Ramblers were the Blueberry Festival Showcase Stage Winners on August 5, 2000 and will appeared on the main stage in August 2001.
The group also appeared at the Sorrento Bluegrass Festival August  2001 and 2002.
The band regularly hosts the Cluculz Lake Bluegrass & Country Jamboree held in March and October each year at the Cluculz Lake Community Hall.
The groups main focus is on their vocals with a rich and exciting blend of male and female
voices. Audiences enjoy the variety of music the band performs - slow ballads, gospel,
bouncy toe tappin' and smokin' fast bluegrass songs with the occassional instrumental.
The group also offers plenty of variety with four lead singers in the group and as many
harmony singers.
Their first recording ( Maybe This Time ) was released in March 1999,  and their second recording, Ramble in Bluegrass was released July 19, 2001. Marlene Bernier has released her own CD, Send Her No Flowers in June 2002.
