The Ramblers are a young band that was formed in August 1997. The band evolved from a group of pickers who gathered every Tuesday evening at Ron and Janice Atkins farm located in the Cluculz Lake area. People travelled considerable distance every Tuesday to pick, sing and visit. New comers were always welcome and were given explicit instructions how to find the farm, turn off the highway at _ _ _ _ road, then follow the dirt road to hydro pole # 49 and listen for the music. Three of the existing band members who attended the Atkin's music night decided to combine their talents and form a bluegrass band where they could sing using two, three, and four part harmonies. The band members are from various musical backgrounds and each member brings several years of experience to the group.
